- Think about what groups you have chosen to show in your film, adults, classes, genders and ethnicities. How have we shown them? Clothing, dialogue, location, actors.
- Explain why you chose to represent things in the way.
- What stereotypes are you conforming to, which are you challenging? Why?
- What messages are you trying to give the audience? Why?
- Did you plan to represent a particular social group? Why? How did your research influence your production?
- What research did you do to learn about these stereotypes?
Consider how filming in Britain has impacted these representations? Would this be different to Hollywood?
Have you created a positive or negative representation of that social class? How does this affect the audience?

We researched the stereotypes of teenagers prior to the production and found that mostly, teenage boys are often represented as: ...
-Main group represented is the adolescent boy, who conforms to a the stereotype of male teenagers.
-He conforms to this because it would make for a more realistic watch for the audience as in society this may be how people would expect them to behave.
- How he conforms:
- Use of vulgarisms, 'fuck', that would be commonly associated this age group.
- Trespassing - 'no trespassing/Leave Immediately/prosecuted' sign shown in the flashback - represents teenagers. as being mischievous, or not abiding by laws in society etc.
- 'Risk of Injury' shows that he is fearless to an extent. The fact that in the plot he goes alone to an abandoned location further reinforces this.
- Graffiti in main room - Shows that young people have tried to claim a sense of ownership in the building and the protagonist is present there. He is hanging around where other young people probably do.
- Camera? the fact that the boy has a camera may be representative of youths having access to technology etc.
